“Sunshine Feel” is a song I wrote as a playful reminder of how quickly gratitude can interrupt the hamster wheel in our minds and open the door of the heart. Sometimes all it takes is calling to mind someone or something that brings us joy—for me, that might be the little black button eyes of my dog, Gucci—to begin shifting how we feel.
The song belongs naturally in The Remembering Room because that “sunshine feel” leads us back to what is real: our Source, our center, and the Presence within. The joy is not something we have to manufacture; it helps us remember the peace, light, and wholeness that are already here.

“I Let It Go (Don’t Want This Anymore)” was co-created by participants in one of our SpiritRise Songwriting Workshops—a beautiful example of what can emerge when people bring their stories, honesty, and creativity into a shared space.
The song belongs naturally in The Remembering Room because letting go is often part of remembering. As we release old fears, burdens, and beliefs that no longer serve us, we make room to recognize the peace, grace, and wholeness that have been within us all along. And on a personal note, I had the joy of singing this one with my son Parker, which makes it especially meaningful to me.
