Waiting
“Waiting” begins with a sincere desire to serve: Spirit, I am ready. What would You have me do? Yet the response is not immediately an assignment or a list of tasks. It is an invitation to come closer, sit at the table, rest, and receive the grace that is already being offered. We may believe we are waiting for Spirit to arrive, speak, or show us the way, only to discover that Presence has already been here—patiently waiting for us to become still enough to notice. Before we are asked to do anything, we are welcomed, nourished, and reminded that all we need is already available.
